Wallace Studentship for Masters Programme at Birkbeck, University of London in UK, 2017

The History of Art department at Birkbeck was delighted to announce a three-year series of studentships for its master‘s programmes. The studentship is open to home/EU students who are intending to undertake MA History of Art, MA History of Art with Photography, or MA Museum Cultures, full time, starting in October 2017.
The School of Arts at Birkbeck, University of London offers diverse, innovative, exciting and creative prospectus, from one-day courses to PhDs.
If English is not student’s first language or the have not previously studied in English, the requirement for this programme is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 7.0, with not less than 6.5 in each of the sub-tests.
Course Level: Studentship is available for pursuing master’s programme.
Study Subject: Studentship is awarded to study MA History of Art, MA History of Art with Photography, or MA Museum Cultures.
Scholarship Award: Scholarship covers fees and a contributory stipend of £2000 pa.
Number of Scholarships: In 2017-18, University is offering one non-repayable studentship.

Eligibility: Students must be a Home/EU student to apply for this studentship. It will be allocated on two criteria. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate both academic excellence, and financial need. Priority will be given to those who can show strong promise as a Masters student, but who would be unable to progress to study at that level without financial support. Please see below for the income criteria.
Nationality: Studentship is available for Home/EU student.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Good honours degree in a relevant subject or equivalent (for example, professional experience).
English Language Requirement: If English is not student’s first language or they have not previously studied in English, the requirement for this programme is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 7.0, with not less than 6.5 in each of the sub-tests.
