Applications are invited for Volvo Group Scholarships available for the citizens of the People’s Republic of China or the Republic of India. Up to four scholarships are awarded for two year masters programme.

Applicants must citizens from non-EU/EEA countries who are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education. The requirement is equivalent to (the Swedish upper secondary school) English course B/6. International students conventionally substantiate this knowledge by submitting acknowledged tests with a prescribed minimum test result.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master degree programme.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded for the following programmes: Automotive Engineering, Computer Systems & Networks, Electric Power Engineering and Software Engineering.
100% of the tuition fee (4 semesters/2 year programme)
In addition, the Volvo Group intends to have close contact with the students during the two years of study. Support offered could include summer internships, Master’s thesis projects and mentorship.
Scholarship can be taken in Sweden
Eligibility: First year applicants to the above Master’s Programmes who are citizens of the People’s Republic of China or the Republic of India that are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university education.
Students from China and India can apply for Volvo Group scholarships.
College Admission Requirement: In order to be qualified for the programmes student apply for, they must meet certain general and specific entry requirements. Once student have met the general requirements, they must also check what specific requirements are needed for the programme/s they wish to apply for.
English Language Requirement: The following language tests and minimum scores are accepted by Chalmers as proof of English language proficiency:
Cambridge CPE or CAE: Pass
IELTS (academic training), 6.0 (with no part of the test below 5.0) TOEFL (paper-based): 550 (with minimum score 4 on written part)
TOEFL (computer-based): 213
TOEFL (Internet-based): 79 (with minimum score 17 on written part). The TOEFL (Institution) code is 9520.
How to Apply: Scholarship applications will only be processed after the corresponding online application for Master’s programmes at universityadmissions.se has been completed, including having submitted all the required documentation verifying your eligibility and having paid the application fee. Only applicants fulfilling the eligibility requirements for the Master’s programmes applied for are considered for a scholarship.
