Orange Tulip Scholarship Programme for Chinese Students in Holland, 2017

For the upcoming 2017/2018 academic year, 22 Dutch higher education institutions are going to offer 66 scholarships with a total value of € 840,000 to Chinese top talents.
The programme not only aims to create opportunities for talented Chinese students to study in Holland, but also to improve the competitive position of the Netherlands in international education market of China and to promote the Netherlands as an ideal studying and working destination.
Neso China is set up in partnership between EP-Nuffic, the Netherlands Organization of International Cooperation in Higher Education and CEAIE, the Chinese Education Association for International Exchange. Neso China is a non-for-profit non-governmental organization. 
IELTS and TOEFL are commonly accepted, but institutions may accept other tests as well, like like Cambridge English.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate degree programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to learn any of the courses offered.

Scholarship can be taken in Netherlands (Holland)
Eligibility: In general, students must meet the following basic criteria to apply for the OTS programme
  • Are a citizen of People’s Republic of China, including Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR.
  • Currently are not studying or working in the Netherlands.
  • Are intend to pursue a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Dutch university (preparatory and exchange programmes are excluded).
  • Meet the specific requirements of the institution of their choice.
  • Are in the process of applying for or already admitted by specific Dutch universities.
Nationality: Citizens of People’s Republic of China, including Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: In order to apply applicants are intend to pursue a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Dutch university (preparatory and exchange programmes are excluded).
English Language Requirement: It is essential that applicants speak, read and write English well. Applicants must have passed an English language test. IELTS and TOEFL are commonly accepted, but institutions may accept other tests as well, like like Cambridge English.
The required scores are at least 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) for TOEFL. For IELTS a score of at least 6 is required.
How to Apply: Applicants can apply for this scholarship using online application mode. In order to apply for the OTS programme, applicants have to prepare the following documents and upload them through the OTS Online application System.
  • Online application form (all sponsors)
  • The proof that the admission process with the Dutch institution has started (all sponsors)
  • Curriculum Vitae in English (some sponsors)
  • 2 (some are 3) recommendation letters in English with the signature of the writer (some sponsors).
Application Deadline: Applications will close on May 1, 2017.
